I’m getting better at staying off of Facebook and removing myself from superficial interactions with strangers, which feels so great! The only other time I remember feeling this good was when I quit WZLY! So much pointless social pressure, by leaders unfit to lead. They wanted you to kiss sooooo much ass. That is the definition of self importance. And I do not submit!
So I managed to color my hair today and that was good because I love maintaining. But it is getting tiring. It’s not actually hair color but it restores your natural hair color where your grays are trying to emerge. It’s called Hairprint. I think I like it! It’s like Madison Reed but healthier, with fewer chemicals. My blacks are much blacker and my browns are still vibrant, just fewer greys.
I had to do major tub and sink cleaning afterward so make sure you clean up when you’re done, otherwise it will really stain your tub, especially if it wasn’t super clean to start with (like if it’s been a while since you really scrubbed it down).
I am drinking coffee Eric made me out of my Hogwarts leatherette coffee carafe. It’s so nice.
I also got a bunch of stuff yesterday at a great price at Homegoods! A huge paella pan, two ceramic skillets that are totally non-toxic, a wok, and two small cast iron dessert/bread makers that are oven-safe. These are the things that excite me these days. I will hopefully make Paella tonight! OMG! I took an online paella class during the pandemic through Barcelona Paella Experience and it was super cool, one-on-one, and very thorough! I learned so much. Don’t forget your soccarat!
I also have a new massage gun (massage gun of 2020 from Groupon RIP) that was also bought at a great discount ($34) and has four attachments! It works so well and gets all the amazing knots out everywhere from being overactive or too inactive, and really helps with circulation! Vivaspa, $34.
So that’s it for shameless promotion. Hehehe. I believe I will get some responsibility at K I P P schools, don’t know what. I think it’s time I shift my teaching responsibilities to a classroom, but I really don’t know how I’ll handle teenagers and bad attitudes. I never was very patient with that stuff. Maybe younger kids would be better. But I can teach lots of subjects. Languages. We’ll see.
I’ve been home for so long, working, not working, I wonder if I can adjust.
I am also in the process of looking for better doctors under my insurance. The ones I had were mediocre at best and I cannot understand how Eric just gets good doctors on his first shot! If only he could get me preggers in just one shot. Just kidding.
