When we are lying here at night

When we are lying here at night with your
arm around me and our
bodies intertwined,
I wish only we were twins in a womb,
consuming the same amniotica,
warm and wet in all of our crevices,
skin on skin,
cocoon enclosed,
sharing this secret story before life has begun,

as we both shake with each step of this body,
Together, together.
